San Diego; July 13, 2005 – Please join Rose Business Solutions in welcoming the newest members of our team – Jake Bastien and Becky Bastien (yes, they are husband and wife).

Jake joins us as our Technical Services Manager overseeing Rose’s Advanced Technical Services offerings. This focus will allow Rose Business Solutions to provide more value to our customers with new components such as Business Portal, Business Intelligence Cubes Library, SQL Reporting Services and more. Jake will oversee the packaging of these new services as they become available and coordinate to introduce them to the Rose Business Solutions customer base.

Jake joins us from Microsoft Business Solutions where he was a Support Escalation Engineer with the Systems Support Team. He was with MBS for 6 years and specialized in Web Applications such as Business Portal, Windows Sharepoint Technologies and eProducts. During his tenure with MBS he focused on SQL Server, Pervasive SQL, Great Plains Migrations, Updates and Installations. Jake has performed numerous onsite engagements and training with many partners and customers around the world and was regarded as a go-to person for any escalations that his team dealt with.

Becky joins Rose Business Solutions as our Lead Developer overseeing Rose’s .Net development practice. This focus will allow us to standardize our development practice and leverage new technology components as they become available. Becky will oversee the development practice scope including integrations, customizations and expanding services.

Becky also came to us from Microsoft Business Solutions. She was an Escalation Engineer (formally the Technical Analyst team) at Microsoft Business Solutions. She was with MBS for 1 ½ years and specialized in C#, SQL, Microsoft CRM and Small Business Accounting. During that time at MBS she focused on Microsoft CRM to Great Plains integration issues and building tools to help alleviate these issues. More recently she has been working with the upcoming product, Small Business Accounting (SBA). Becky will be able to bring knowledge of eConnect to the team as well.
