Rose Business Solutions is pleased to offer you a new service that will increase the overall productivity of your environment.  A Technical Assessment is being offered for both new and existing clients.  The assessment will be conducted by The Rose Business Solutions Technical Services Team and finding will be documented and returned to the customer. Remote SQL Server Assessment

A Rose Business Solutions Technical Services Team member will connect to your system remotely to gather information about your SQL Server along with specific information on the database server currently implemented. The Technical Services Team then prepares a Tech Assessment Report that highlights critical issues and provides recommendations.

The following four major categories are analyzed:

  • Overall Application server Hardware review.
  • SQL server overall review.
  • SQL service packs checks.
  • SQL best practices, Overall systems analysis.
    • Basic Backup and Recovery
    • Configuration Options
    • Database Administration
    • General Administration

Advanced Remote Systems Assessment

A Rose Business Solutions Technical Services Team member will connect to your system remotely to gather information about your Great Plains, Small Business Manager or Solomon file server along with systems information on the SQL server currently implemented. The Technical Services Team then prepares a Tech Assessment Report that highlights critical issues and provides recommendations.

The following eight major categories are analyzed:

  • SQL best practices, Overall systems analysis.

Complete Onsite Technical Assessment
A “standalone” Technical Assessment is the most personalized and proactive service plan Rose Business Solutions offers. During a Technical Assessment, a Rose Business Solutions Technical Services Team member analyzes the customers’ system. The Technical Services Team then prepares a Tech Assessment Report that highlights critical issues and provides recommendations.

Pre-production Audit:
A Pre-production Audit can be conducted in conjunction with the Technical Assessment to verify that the proper variables and set-up choices are in place for the customer’s system. Customers will receive a detailed document that outlines the objectives of the Technical Assessment, an executive summary, the analysis, recommendations and conclusions.
